About Our Client:
Our client is a leading provider of air compressor products and services across North America. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales and Sales Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination across the organization. 


Position Overview:
The Inside Sales and Sales Support Specialist will play a dual role in supporting the sales team and driving inside sales initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage distributor relationships effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales coordination, distributor management, and customer relationship building, preferably within the industrial equipment or related sectors. 

Key Responsibilities:


  •  Serve as the primary point of contact between the sales team, distributors, and internal departments.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing distributors and dealers to ensure satisfaction and performance.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributors and dealers to expand the company’s network.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage distributor agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with company goals.
  • Respond to sales inquiries, prepare quotes, and provide exceptional customer service to strengthen client relationships.
  • Coordinate and schedule customer visits, distributor meetings, and sales-related events.
  • Track and monitor distributor performance, sales targets, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist in sales reporting, market research, and strategic planning initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM software and ensure timely follow-up on sales leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve departmental goals.

  

Qualifications:

  

  •  5-7 years of experience in sales coordination, inside sales, distributor management, or a related role, preferably in the industrial equipment or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to manage distributor networks and build strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the air compressor industry or related industrial equipment is an asset.
