Technical Key Account Manager (Door & Window Systems)

 Position Overview:
 

We are partnering with a distinguished client in the architectural aluminum and facade systems industry. On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Key Account Manager to manage critical sales operations between their group companies and their key accounts in North America markets.

This is a unique opportunity to act as the strategic technical and commercial bridge between Canada, Turkey and the North American operations, ensuring seamless project execution for their flagship client while driving new business development across the region.

Key Responsibilities:


 Sales & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate all project inquiries originating from North America to the Turkey office.
  • Manage the end-to-end quotation process:
  • Analyze client requests and relay technical details to the headquarters in Turkey.
  • Review incoming quotations from the production teams in Turkey.
  • Prepare, finalize, and submit professional proposals to clients.
  • Track offers, manage revisions, and secure Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Initiate pre-payment processes upon order confirmation.
  • Read and interpret architectural blueprints; coordinate with client architectural teams to ensure technical alignment.

Strategic Account & Relationship Management

  • erve as the primary liaison between the North American operations and Turkey, ensuring smooth communication and operational alignment.
  • Take full ownership of the relationship with the company's most important customer, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and project success.
  • Identify and develop new project opportunities and client relationships across North America.
  • Operations & Fulfillment
  • Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, including production tracking, logistics coordination, and customs clearance between Turkey and North America.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to project sites.
  • Provide post-sales support during the installation phase and monitor site progress.
  • Financial & Strategic Oversight
  • Prepare monthly reports covering sales performance, expenses, and income statements for the North American operation.
  • Contribute to profitable and capital-preserving growth; assist with cash flow management, collections, and financial planning.
  • Take first-level responsibility for financial and legal matters related to the region, keeping company partners informed and involved in strategic decisions.

What We Are Looking For:


Education & Technical Background:

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related technical fields (Industrial Engineering or Technical Associate Degrees with relevant experience will also be considered).
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the aluminum, PVC facade systems, or building materials industry.
  • Proven track record in project-based sales and key account management.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software (ability to understand, not necessarily to draw).
  • Experience with quantity surveying and cost estimation.
  • Commercial & Soft Skills:
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
  • Experience managing cross-border operations (Turkey-North America corridor is a plus).
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with reporting (P&L, balance sheets).
  • Ability to act as a bridge between technical, commercial, and operational teams.
  • Knowledge of logistics and customs clearance processes is an advantage.


Job Type: On site, full-time, in Woodbridge Ontario
